Collecting data automatically in real-time is critical for project management of large construction projects and complex programmes. Unfortunately there are a multitude of different access systems (turnstiles with readers, swipe cards, mobile biometric devices etc.) and little in the way of standards for extracting data centrally.
The project would focus on a heterogeneous environment (e.g. a consortium or mixed projects) and the outcome would be to accurately capture and bring back to a central database in real time, the required data necessary. It would need to be practical given the nature of sites coming up and down. |
