Digital pen

The Logitech IO pen: This captures handwritten information, storing up to 40 A4 pages of text in its memory. The digital information can then be transferred to a PC or business system via a USB cradle where it is organised and displayed. This information is initially displayed in graphic form in the users handwriting on the screen, but can then be transferred using OCR to an MS Office document.

The Chatpen CHA-30: This version works on the same principle as the IO pen except instead of downloading the information through a docking station, the information is sent using Bluetooth technologies instantly through an enabled mobile phone to the required destination. The Chatpen can hold several fully written pages in its memory before download. A mobile phone required is part of the product package.

Nokia Digital Pen SU-1B: This digital pen by Nokia combines both the functions of the previous to examples into one package. The memory of the pen can hold up to 100 sheets of A5 paper, and the information can be downloaded via a USB connection to a computer, or through an enabled Nokia phone to the required destination.
